You knew it.Ī few months ago I noticed that when I edited a photo in Lightroom 5.7 and then opened it up in CS5 the image was dark so eventually decided to pay $9.99 a month for the latest Lightroom and Photoshop. I never knew software could cause people to be so dogmatic.įorgive me for laughing but I find it funny so many stubborn people were desperate to buy standalone LR when they knew that is what they are paying for and no more feature updates just like usual CS way.
I just don't understand how people don't get that. If you did you would be overjoyed to know that subscription is a fraction of the price that CS used to be. Stick with CS6 or below and be happy because you don't want the new features. Don't you guys see you are basically begging for free stuff. It's not like with standalone CS7 you would continue to get updates of CS8,9 etc without paying for it.
Those of you saying "well as soon as you cancel you have nothing" Well just stick with CS6 then. Also since you seem so desperate to get new features but want to stay stand alone you must love giving away money because it is cheaper to be on subscription than it is to upgrade stand alone each year (back in the CS days).
